Parvana is a Level 4 Exempt organisation.

In South Africa, Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) has as its goal the upliftment of blacks through their involvement in the economic life of the country. Despite the achievement of political freedom over the past years, it has proved more difficult to effect the economic emancipation of the South African workforce.

Parvana recognises the issues raised above and embraces its social responsibilities within the broader communities in which it conducts its activities.
It is our intention to foster the participation of Blacks in critical decision-making processes in the economy, and to maximise their control over those factors that govern their lives. Parvana is focused on addressing complex human resource issues in our economy and society through creative and innovative people-based interventions. In terms of ownership, our South African company is 100% woman owned and it is our intention to sell 30% of our South African operation to a Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Company.
